The Department of Justice now provides toll free “800” service for both voice and TDD callers who have questions about Title II and Title III of the ADA, including the Standards for Accessible Design. Under it’s extended hours of operations, operators may be reached from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (EDT), Monday through Friday (except Thursdays, 12:30 pm to 5:30pm). The system has been upgraded to accommodate larger number of callers simultaneously and to provide Spanish language service. Callers may hear recorded information and order materials at any time day and night. The information line numbers are:
